The Church of Scotland Guild is a movement within the Church of Scotland that invites and encourages both women and men to commit their lives to Jesus Christ and enables them to express their faith in worship, prayer and action.
With around 20,000 members, the Guild is one of Scotland's largest voluntary organisation. Although women make up the bulk of our membership, increasingly, men are becoming members and taking active roles at local and national levels.
The Guild's motto is taken from Acts 27, verse 23: 'Whose we are and Whom we serve', and worship is an important part of each meeting.
The Blairgowrie Parish Church Branch usually meets on alternate Mondays of each month at 2 pm in the Church Hall from September to May. This year our outing is to Peel Farm, on Monday 18th May and everyone is welcome. We will meet at 12.45pm at the church and transport can be arranged for anyone who needs it. The cost for refreshments is £10.50 per person and this can be paid on the day.
The concert with Meigle Musicality is to be held at the church on Monday June 15th at 7pm. The cost is just £6 and includes refreshments.
We enjoy great fun and friendship and are always keen to welcome new members.
Please contact Margaret Conroy or Colleen Joslin for further information.
