The Church of Scotland Guild is a movement within the Church of Scotland that invites and encourages both women and men to commit their lives to Jesus Christ and enables them to express their faith in worship, prayer and action.

With around 20,000 members, the Guild is one of Scotland's largest voluntary organisation. Although women make up the bulk of our membership, increasingly, men are becoming members and taking active roles at local and national levels.

The Guild's motto is taken from Acts 27, verse 23: 'Whose we are and Whom we serve', and worship is an important part of each meeting.

The Blairgowrie Parish Church Branch usually meets on alternate Mondays of each month at 2 pm in the Church Hall. Our concert with Meigle Musicality that was planned for Monday 27th April has had to be postponed until June with the date for the resheduled concert to be confirmed later. Instead we are having an extra meeting at our usual time of 2pm. Members are asked to bring their favourite poems or readings to share.

The Guild AGM will be held on Monday 4th May at 2pm, and the Guild and Craft Group outing to Peel Farm is planned for Monday 18th May with timings to be confirmed.

We enjoy great fun and friendship and are always keen to welcome new members.
